Re the caste system in India I would like to clarify the followings:
Originally the caste system started by dividing Population into 4 categories depending on their type of work which is already mentioned that :
1. Kshatriya : These are the rulers and warriors.
2. Bhramin : The Teachers, Preachers and the Scholars including the Monks and the Saints.
3. Vaishya : The traders
4. Shrudas : The labor class.
In our daily life, it is obvious that in our daily life for our normal routine we have to deal with all these castes and it is obvious that we can not live without them.
It is unfortunate that with the time , human started taking advantage of the situation by classifying their caste based on their birth which is not true and started looking down on the other caste not realising that they are going agains the teaching mentioned in the Vedas.
Actually, this happens in all the religions as it is human instinct that they would interprest things to suit their benefit.
If any body wants to know more about the caste systems can contact us thourgh this web board itself or if you have any queries on Hindu Religion please do not hesitate to send in your questions.
